realway
Character Background: Wookieepedia page which is absurdly long because Star Wars be that way. Only relevant up to Age of the Empire, which marks the end of the Clone Wars and the fall of the Jedi.
Character Personality:
Full of heart, compassionate to the weak, and pursuing peace in dangerous situations, Ahsoka embodies the role of what the Jedi stand for in their codes. Snarky, stubborn, and passionate, she also went against the Jedi teachings to never let emotion cloud judgment. Taken in by the Jedi Order at a young age, Ahsoka was thrust into war at fourteen with the understanding that she would be trained as a peacekeeper to protect the galaxy and the oppressed. Her journey brings her to the conclusion that what she was really trained for was being a soldier, and that the conflicts she engaged in were far more nuanced than the light/dark dichotomy that she was instructed under.
The most important aspect of her to get across is her intrinsic goodness. If someone needs her help, no matter the risk, she will offer it to them without hesitation. If the person is her friend she won't even bother asking and jump into the fray to do whatever she can for them. This would often result in reckless action without a full plan of thought, which overtime she grew out of as she matured. In her older years she understands the value of a plan, but doesn't overthink each detail. As long as she has a general outline of what she has to do, she's happy to wing the rest in the name of quick action and results. This puts her at odds with the Jedi Order, whom she criticizes for playing politics and talking about taking action without ever enacting meaningful change.
Unlike the older Jedi Masters who are prone to speaking in riddles and proverbs, Ahsoka is brash and to the point. She speaks with honesty and glib that is unusual for the Jedi, which quickly earned her the nicknames "Snips" for her wit and sharp tongue. Though the Jedi stressed emotional distance, Ahsoka never truly practiced it and embraced forging close connections wherever she could. This is most reflected in her relationships with her master, Anakin Skywalker, and Clone Trooper Captain Rex. Though Anakin is her mentor, they share a bond likened to brother and sister with their constant trading of barbs. Rex, considered "disposable" by way of being one of many clone soldiers, is her closest ally in the war and a valued friend that acts as a straightman to her witticisms. The people she cares for give her strength and purpose, and so she never really took to heart any warnings to distance from the people she had grown attached to. If you have her trust you have it for life, and she does not take kindly to duplicity.
However her earnest trust has come to bite her more than once. The worst comes when one of her closest friends in the Jedi Order bombs the temple and frames her for the crime. Despite her loyalty, not to mention being raised in the temple since childhood, the council is swift to deem her a criminal. Ahsoka can see she is being set up to take the fall and it speaks to her independent nature that she does not buck to authority. Instead she goes on the run as a fugitive, knowing that it is on her to find the real culprit. She even chooses to put her trust in an old enemy turned bounty hunter, knowing it could end badly for her but understanding in the moment that she couldn't outrun the law alone. When the truth comes out, Ahsoka nearly executed for the crime, it ends with her disillusioned with the Jedi Order. She leaves the only home she has ever known because she has outgrown them on her path.
Leaving the Order exposes her for the first time to how - for lack of a better term - sheltered she was under the temple. The light/dark dichotomy she was raised under begins to reveal deep shades of gray that she must navigate while holding onto her morals and convictions. Stories of how the Jedi's attempts to save lives actually resulted in greater losses made her question if their ineffectual nature was by design, as public opinion was actually turning against them in a way they refused to recognize. It also made her question if she was raised as a peacekeeper, when the reality is the Jedi are little more than a special military force acting on the will of the Republic Senate. It puts her in a position of uncomfortable scrutiny of her people and herself, forcing an examination of what she believes in.
Though she rejects being called a Jedi afterward, and continues to do so into her adult years, Ahsoka does still trust in the Force. The energy of the galaxy that binds all life together, connecting all as one, becomes her trusted guide. It does not speak to her with words, but it guides her in illuminating the path of good she strives to be on. The path is riddled with many holes and traps, and not compromising on who she is can be a greater struggle than it sounds. This is where she succeeds where her mentor Anakin ultimately falls, because she never wavered in trusting her judgment and herself even when she wasn't sure if she could trust others.
It was during the Siege of Mandalore that her path solidified. She would do good, be good, and not compromise to get there. When hundreds of Clone Troopers turned their guns on her, a result of brainwashing to kill all the Jedi, she refused to kill any of them even if she knew she could not convince them to stop attacking. When Maul was about to escape into the unknown, Ahsoka let him go because saving Rex was more important than stopping Maul. When she learned as an adult that Anakin was Darth Vader, Ahsoka would refuse to give up on the good she knew was still in him. If darkness would try to swallow the galaxy up, she would gladly be a beacon of light as instructed by the will of the Force.
Yet she would not do it as a Jedi, abandoning the lightsaber given to her by Anakin and the weight the title carried throughout her life. She would do it as Ahsoka Tano.

Character Abilities:
Force Sensitivity: Defined as a field of energy that connects and binds all together in the galaxy, those deemed 'force sensitive' can be trained to manipulate the energy into psychic powers. Ahsoka has been trained by the Jedi Order to use the Force from the time she was three years old, and is noted as having an innate raw skill in connecting to the energy. Though the Force has an abundant list of powers, Ahsoka is a more standard user in her skill set. She can push and pull people and objects, jump and fall from extraordinary heights without a hitch, and perform mind tricks to manipulate others as well as sense dangerous presences. These powers make her a Jedi far more than a lightsaber does.
Sword training: A natural result of her lightsaber training, Ahsoka could wield just about any light one-handed sword with great skill. Lightsabers tend to have an equivalency to rapiers given their light weight and the general fighting style. She has also proven she can dual-wield blades and keep up with some of the strongest among the light and dark side.
Combat/Athleticism: Even without the Force and without a lightsaber, Ahsoka has been trained in close range hand-to-hand combat. She is exceptionally nimble and light on her feet, focusing on pushing back opponents with swift combinations of punches and kicks to disarm them. This allows her to take on many fighters at once, though she can be overwhelmed by a stronger physical force. A fast runner, high jumper, if the Jedi had sports teams she would be on all of them.
Mechanical Skill: Ahsoka has been shown repairing ships and vehicles more than a few times in canon, displaying she knows her way with a wrench and bolts. She wouldn't be able to make anything from scratch on her own, but can definitely do repair work.

Summary: The Forest of Mortis - alive and thriving in the day, dead and withering in the night.
Full Details: On the planet Mortis, where Ahsoka once went in her youth with Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, a strange phenomenon takes place. During the day the planet is full of life. Great lush forests undisturbed and peaceful, where creatures could live without fear or hunger. The light that shined down was warm and the land was bountiful. However when night came, the forest would die. The trees would suddenly wither and die with the fading of the light, and the creatures would run away and hide in terror of the dark. Sometimes rain would fall so heavily, the downpour scalding to the touch, that shelter was not an option but a necessity to make it through the night. The cycle would begin all over again when light returned. A forest that continuously lives and dies and revives to only wither again, it represents the balance of light and dark, of life and death.▲▼▲▼▲▼▲▼▲
